Current needs

At the moment, I have been very blessed with regular support and have almost all the finances that I would've liked when I budgeted my expenses.

I do have a bit of a deficit, however, because I am still recovering from my trip home for Christmas. Various other costs have come up as well (partly due to me being blonde and doing things like running a car into a pole), and at the moment I am in need of about $1000.

I am pursuing a few areas where I'd be able to work a bit for this money, but won't be able to cover it all in that way.

If you are able to help me out with this amount at all, or would be interested in supporting me regularly, there are details on this site as to how you can do this on the left hand side of this blog.

Blessings!

New way to Donate

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years as God guides me into steps that require a lot of faith.

I have a new way that people can send support to me, which is tax deductible! I have an account with YWAM in Tyler, TX, and my money will go through them and then be sent to me. This is also a way to stay accountable to the government as far as taxes go.

So, here is how to donate:

1. For either one-time, or monthly support, you can send checks to YWAM Tyler. DO NOT put my name on the check, but send a separate not with my name on it. They will send you a receipt and an envelope to send your next donation in, so it is a good reminder if you are supporting me monthly. Send to:
Accounting Department
PO Box 3000
Garden Valley, TX 75771-3000 (USA)

2.  If you do want to support me monthly, you can have automatic withdrawals from your bank account. Click here for a form to fill out and send back to YWAM.

Please email me with any questions regarding support (or anything else)
Blessings!

New way to donate

Quick heads up: I'm working on a new, easier way for people to be able to donate to me. I'll be going through the YWAM base in Tyler, Texas - they will have an account for me and will be the "middle man" for my finances. The good news with that is you can get donations automatically taken out of your bank account, or send them a check directly and they'll send you a receipt. Also, donations will be tax-deductible, which is really nice.
I'm still working out this process and will post how it works soon. Let me know if you want info on this!

Thanks for your support

Testimony!

For this financial update, I want to simply share a testimony about how amazing God is.

For the last 4 or 5 months - since before my outreach - I haven't really had any money to speak of. I've been praying a lot, trusting a lot, and God is just amazing. As I've written in my main blog,  God came through for my team on outreach so much, but he did for me personally as well. Although it has been hard to not get stressed out at times, I have never once been totally left high and dry - I always have money when I need it, and usually God blesses me more than enough.

Since I'm looking into the next 5 or so months and knowing I'll be in this same situation, I decided to fast and pray instead of worry.... I did this a couple different times, and the second day that I was fasting, our whole base had a time to bless one another with money, and I received over $250 from different people, and was able to bless someone else as well. I was just blown away at God's generosity. I was getting to the point of really wondering if I was going to make it, and I felt like the whole thing was really God saying, "I'm gonna get you through it, no amount is too big for me".  Also, those days that I was fasting, when I would go to pray, all I felt to say to God was to be thankful for and acknowledge (and remind myself) of how much he's blessed me in the past, and I also to pray for all of the people that have supported me, that God would bless their lives.  Since I've done that, God seems to just have poured down more and more on me. He is truly amazing!

I just wanted to share that with you! I'm still trusting God to take care of me and to get me the money to be able to visit home for Christmas..... but I'm able to believe more and more everyday that he will come through for me, because he's showing me more everyday that he truly does provide for every need! I hope that all of you around the world reading this are encouraged - God is good

Outreach update

My outreach team is currently in need of about $15,000 for the remainder of our costs. Personally, I need about $1,000 to cover my part of the finances, though we are all raising money as a group. We have already seen over half of what we need come in, and we know that God will provide the rest... we are trusting him! Please pray for our finances, and give as God prompts you, if he does. I think that God has been speaking to our whole team about generosity, and I know that through the process of raising this amount of money, God is teaching us all things that are bigger than just the dollar amount.

Thanks for being a part of this outreach and my ministry here, you are all a blessing to me!

Outreach fees

I currently am raising funds for the outreach that my team will be taking to India. As staff, my fees are slightly reduced but I still need the money for my plane and train tickets. That will be roughly $2,400 US.  I also need to buy a backpack for the trip, and have other various travel expenses. I do have some of this saved up already, but am trusting God to bring in most of it.
If  you feel God calling you to join me in this outreach, you can send checks to my parents, or donate through our website - the link is on this page.

God bless you!
